Outercamp, Hoot Owl Ridge

There is 1-mile of gravel road that leads to the property from Highway 226. Not super steep, but a couple spots are rugged. Address: 4515 NC-226, Marion, NC 28752 1) Carefully pull off the highway at the address on your GPS (I usually creep forward slowly so I can see around the corner). 2) Start down the gravel road. When you reach the gate, check to see if the chain is locked. 3) The code to unlock the gold padlock is 2222 (Push the shackle in to release - the same way you would if you were locking it). If you have any trouble, just call me! 4) Pull your car forward past the gate, and close the gate behind you! You can leave it unlocked if you will be in and out. 5) Carefully follow the winding gravel road for about a mile until you get to a fork in the road and a white shipping container. 6)Continue past the shipping container staying to the right at the fork, and take the gravel road down the hill. 7) You will see a pull off to the right side of the road in front of a sign reading “Wild Fairies.” Please pull over far enough that a car could squeeze by you on the left. 8) Follow the foot path just in front of your car further down the hill to the Wild Fairy Inn. 9) Lockbox is located to the right of the stairs to the back deck - Code is 9282.
