It is true, we do occasionally have the smell of cattle (when the wind is just right). We are conveniently located 3 1/2 miles to downtown McMinnville, a foodie paradise, an hour away from the beautiful Oregon coast and an hour from downtown Portland is a great setting. Our rural agricultural setting is in the heart of the beautiful wine country. It is true, we do occasionally have the smell of cattle (when the wind is just right). We are conveniently located 3 1/2 miles to downtown McMinnville, a foodie paradise, an hour away from the beautiful Oregon coast and an hour from downtown Portland is a great setting. It is true we are located across the highway from a small municipal airport and right next door to the Evergreen Aviation Museum. The airport has a great helicopter school so we do experience some noise but the entertainment from watching them take off and land we feel is a bonus. This small airport uses maximum distance and altitude separation to help with the noise abatement. Read Less
