Okains Bay Camping Ground

The Okains Bay Camping Ground is located in the idyllic Okains Bay, on Banks Peninsula in the South Island, approximately one and a quarter hours drive from Christchurch and only 20 kms from the popular tourist resort of Akaroa. There is a variety of settings for your camp site whether you are looking for larger areas to share with groups of families and friends or somewhere more secluded and private or for your campervan - it is all here! The kitchens have gas or electric hobs, microwaves, fridges, electric zips and there is also a freezer for your convenience. Facilities for children include two 2 flying foxes, a climbing frame, swings and slide and a very safe beach and estuary which is ideal for swimming, surfing, kayaking or just taking time out to have fun!
