Built in the 1840s, the charming Georgian Belmont farmhouse still retains its original Coach house and Stables that sit within a large English-style garden. The Space: Located in the country town of Sorell, Tasmania. The birdlife will serenade you as you unwind in the tranquil garden setting, which has connected water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.

The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people’s needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment. If you plan to spend your weekend getaways here, basic necessities such as food and drink can be sourced from nearby supermarkets and cafes. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, including the main garden and parking on site. The Neighborhood: Located within the township of Sorell, Tasmania. A convenient starting point to explore local markets, farmlands, vineyards, distilleries, and Tasmania’s historic convict settlements. Hobart, Dunalley, and Richmond are all within a 12-28 minute drive of the property. Other Things to Note: - No WiFi - Quiet hours 10 pm-7 am - No pets allowed on the property - No smoking allowed on the property - Mobile reception is good for all networks - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - Some areas are shared, such as the BBQ grill, chairs, etc. - Please note there will be some road noise as the tiny house is situated in Sorell - Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the doors when leaving the tiny house - Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers). Guest Advisory - We would like to remind guests that our tiny house follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet. Important note: - Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during total fire ban days. - Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay.
