This is a fully catered vacation rental and meals can be enjoyed in a communal dining area along with the other ranchers, the perfect community environment. Although the cabins are luxurious, this is no regular vacation. Guests at the ranch are given the opportunity to be a real life cowboy. Days will be spent roaming around the wide open spaces on horseback and glampers will get the opportunity to experience ranch life first hand. For the duration of their stay, glampers will be allocated a gentle, well-schooled quarter horse to be their companion and will have the opportunity to learn all of the basic skills such as riding, cattle working, rope skills, branding, driving the herd and sorting cattle. Lessons will be included, which are led by experienced ranchers, who will share their years of cowboy knowledge, teaching classes in roping skills, team penning, horsemanship, and will always be on hand to help. This is a fully catered experience and the ranch style food will keep any cowboy happy. The day will begin with a hearty breakfast of pancakes with eggs and sausages, breakfast burritos or biscuits and gravy. A lunch of hamburgers and hot sandwiches will be served at midday every day and accompanied by cookies, pies, and desserts. Once a week lunch will be served as a picnic out in the pasture. At the end of a long day, cowboys can relax and enjoy a classic ranch supper, steak grilled on the barbecue with all the accompaniments plus desserts. The main lodge is equipped with laundry facilities, satellite television, and wireless internet. There is also a snack bar available if guests care to purchase any additional items, as well as a phone for guest use if needed.
