NEW FOR 2025 SEASON: we have made some significant upgrades to provide you with a more comfortable glamping experience. Now we have a running hot and cold water in the kitchen and a comfortable outdoor shower. This is an off-grid experience but we provide you with a portable electrical station that you can use to charge your devices. Also the ground in the camping area has been evened out. IMPORTANT: this is a camping experience, so if you are looking for a cottage experience for the price of camping, please don’t book this place. The tent is in the forested environment, so mosquitos and other insects are naturally to be expected here. PETS Please note that if you are planning to bring a pet, there is an additional fee charged for this. When you book your stay, add your pet to the booking , so the fee is calculated and added to the overall amount. In case you miss it, the fee will be requested retroactively. We ask you to keep your pet on the leash when you are in the parking area and around our homestead as we have our own pets and other guests with pets. But when you are in your glamping area, you are welcome to keep your pets off the leash if you are comfortable doing that. WATER There is running cold and hot water in the glamping area that can be used for showering, cooking and cleaning dishes. KITCHEN The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery and other helpful cooking utensils. There is a propane stove that can be used for cooking. There is a sink with running water to easily clean dishes. SLEEPING There are two comfortable Queen size mattresses in the tent, so there are 4 sleeping spaces. In case only a group of one or two people is renting the space, the extra mattress can be folded and be used as a couch. OUTHOUSE The cedar outhouse is located outside, it is compost style, so you have to put a scoop of provided wood shavings on the matter every time you go to the bathroom. SHOWER There is a comfortable new cedar shower in the glamping area that you can enjoy during your stay. ELECTRICITY This is an off-grid experience but for your convenience we provide you with a portable electric station that can be used to charge your devices and power some small appliances.
