Gundagai is roughly halfway between Sydney and Melbourne, making it an easy drive to and from the tiny house. And one of the best farm stay NSW getaways in the area. Our local recommendations: - The famous dog on the Tuckerbox is 5 miles from Gundagai. - Lott’s Family Hotel Pub is a great place for meet-ups with the best food and drinks in town. - Gundagai Rotary Lookout offers stunning panoramic views of the local area and can be reached via Mount and Luke Streets. - Monty's Diner is a popular diner known for its toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, chicken schnitzel, fresh salad, and other dishes. - Carberry Park is a park next to the tourist information center with lovely leafy shade, outdoor space for children, and public restrooms. – Niagara Café and Old-style Greek café which have recently been restored offer delicious breakfast and lunch menu options available.
