If you’re traveling in a campervan or 2WD vehicle, this is the perfect choice. If you’re looking to explore the Lake Dunstan Trail by bike and are comfortable driving on gravel roads, Tāima PurePod is an excellent option. Please note that Tāima PurePod is best enjoyed by those who are comfortable driving on gravel roads, and not suited for campervans or small 2WD cars. The walk up here is a 700m walk. Take your mind back to the gold mining days when these pathways were once used for sluicing gold through water races. It sits 317m above sea level, so you could be walking through the clouds to find your secluded PurePod. Take time to look across to the mighty Pisa Mountain Range. Privacy is assured here. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be surrounded by vast views that make total relaxation a compelling prospect! With no one nearby, you can sit back, relax and soak in the views. It looks straight at the Pisa Range, snow-covered for much of the year. Experience ultimate relaxation with a glass of locally produced wine on your own private deck, while watching the sunset transform the Pisa Mountain Range into a beautiful golden hue during the final hours of light. If you are able to tear yourself away from the luxurious comforts of the tiny house, there’s so much to enjoy in Cromwell, Central Otago. If you are staying for a couple of days, set aside some time to explore the wonderful activities on offer, such as exploring the flavours of Central Otago (award-winning restaurants and wineries) or jump on the Clutha River Heritage Cruise. Of course, if such exploration is not quite what you desire, stretch out on the deck, enjoy a glass of locally-produced wine and embrace the complete absence of people and traffic. The PurePod has all the facilities you require including a fabulous shower, flush toilet, crisp linen, cooking and eating equipment including a gas hob and barbeque, tea coffee and milk; as well as an assortment of games, local reference books, and a telescope. So sit back, relax in the luxury camp chairs out on the deck, or laze in the super comfortable bed and watch nature put on a show. You can either bring your own supplies or pre-order a delicious breakfast and dinner food hamper when you make your reservation. Check-in is from 3pm (but please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to walk to the PurePod before dark). Check-out is by 12 pm on the day of departure. Once you have confirmed your booking, you will receive special instructions on how to find your secret slice of paradise.
