About this campground
Welcome to Campsite Notvann. Your adventure. In the middle of Hamarøy. In the heart. A trip north along the E6, an hour before the ferry crossing, which divides Norway into two parts, is the perfect starting point for travel experiences that you will remember for a lifetime. 600 dizzying altitude meters steeply in all directions from the National Mountain Stetind, mountain fishing tour to Stolo or evening trip to Litjvasstua; with Notvann as a base you have all the options. Courageous or quiet, untrained or well trained, young or old. Here you will find tours that could suit you exactly.

Tormod and Siv, who run the campsite, know all the paths and waters in the area and help with recommendations, descriptions and route maps. You operate the campsite with the Europastraße at one end and the lake at the other, with a river in between. If you want to spend a few days in quiet surroundings or on the way there just need a sleeping place, you are naturally welcome with us. In addition to large hikes, summit tours are possible, as well as canoe tours are certified for those who want to rent a kayak.
