About this campground
North Alves Holiday Park is set in the grounds of a once fully working 19th century farm. We are surrounded by stunning open countryside and located only 1 mile from the lovely ancient pine forest and beach at RoseisleBeing situated approxiamately 1 hours drive from Inverness (The gateway to the Highlands), Aviemore and The Cairngorms National Park, the campsite is a wonderful base to venture further afield for the day if you wish.

There are also various activities available locally for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits like walking, water sports, golfing, quad biking as well as many more...If however you prefer a more relaxing pastime like wildlife watching, the Moray Firth is famous for it's various sightings, including dolphin and seals. Perhaps even a visit to one or more of the many distilleries located on the world famous Moray Malt Whisky Trail. We are perfectly located for all these activities and many more and are an ideal base for touring and exploring Moray and the Highlands.We like to think that our park facilities will meet your every need during your stay with us and we aim to keep our facilities and amenity blocks to the highest standard of cleanliness. Our showers are free of charge (included in fee). We aim to keep North Alves a natural, quiet retreat so be advised we do not have a clubhouse or evening entertainment.Our aim is to give all our visitors a real rural experience during a stay with us at North Alves, keeping to the true farming roots of the site. This includes our nature meadow/pond area and our open viewing area into our animal paddocks, where you can see our resident animals including our pet sheep, pet pigs, alpacas and our resident geese, chickens and ducks.We have a limited number of pitches available for touring caravans with the Electric Hook-ups available. We also have an extensive acreage for tentsDirectionsSituated only one mile north of the main A96 Inverness to Aberdeen, North Alves Holiday Park is easy to find..... Heading East From Inverness about 6 miles from the town of Forres you will come to Alves, take the first left turn at the primary school (just after CINDERELLA FABRICS). Follow the minor road for about a mile and the Holiday Park is on the right. Heading West From Aberdeen about 5 miles from the City of Elgin you will come to Alves, take the last right turn at the primary school (before CINDERELLA FABRICS) as you are about to leave the village. As above the site is about a mile down the road.
