The campground is accessed via Forest Road 405, a firm-packed gravel road suitable for most vehicles, though the campground itself may not accommodate larger trailers and motorhomes. Dispersed camping is also available along the access road. Facilities are minimal, with vault toilets provided but no potable water available. Campers must bring all necessary water and supplies. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leash. The campground operates seasonally from late May through mid-October, weather and conditions permitting, and is free of charge.
