About this campground
We would like to help you to access the FRESHEST, LOCAL vegetables and other amazing food, all grown, baked, or raised within 10 miles of our nursery. We will deliver to your door on Thursday (Thanet and villages around Upstreet) or Friday (all other areas)Nethergong Nurseries is run by the Jenkins family from Upstreet, eight miles from Canterbury. We have a smallholding and nursery at Nethergong, growing herbs and specialist vegetables in the heart of the Garden of England.We got the idea for Nethergong Nurseries by growing tomatoes in the back garden over the past few summers.

They tasted so much better than anything we had bought from the shops so it got us thinking that there must be a market for fresh, local produce. The idea was born.With its abundance of natural resources East Kent has been described as the new Gastronomic Hot Spot in England. Elizabeth Carter, the editor of 'The Good Food Guide', said:"A rough triangle encompassing Canterbury, Whitstable and Faversham in east Kent has lured quality chefs, who appear to be drawn to the high quality Kentish produce."There you have it, our produce really is the tastiest and freshest out there!CampingWhy not visit our beautiful smallholding and camp in our woods or in our fields?We have 26 acres of beautiful woodland and pasture and allow camping in tents only (limited to maximum twenty five tents). Our fees are £20.00 per tent per night.We are close to historic Canterbury, the beautiful seaside towns of Whitstable and Ramsgate and only five minutes away from Stodmarsh Nature Reserve.Nethergong Nurseries is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certified Site.
