Pilot Knob, one of the highest points in West Tennessee, hosts the Tennessee River Folklife Interpretive Center and Museum. The park also features a third campground reserved for supervised youth groups along Harmon's Creek, plus five backcountry shelters for more adventurous campers. Originally constructed by the Works Progress Administration during the Depression Era, the park now serves as both a recreational destination and cultural heritage site. The park has implemented a trash-can-free system with centralized dumpsters at each campground. Standard camping limits apply: 14 consecutive days maximum (28 days December through February), with check-in at 4:00 PM and checkout at noon.
