Mossyard is a traditional working farm situated in a magnificent coastal location with the beautiful backdrop of the Galloway Hills. Mossyard, located 4 miles west of Gatehouse of Fleet, is in the heart of rural Dumfries & Galloway, south west Scotland. A VisitScotland 4 Star caravan and camping park with self catering cottages and luxury lodges, Mossyard with its stunning views over Fleet Bay and a choice of sandy beaches, has everything you need for a relaxing break. Our luxury coastal cottages and lodges are available for holidays and short breaks and our caravan park is open from April to October.

Enjoy hospitality of our family run business with the attractions of a working farm.Whether you are interested in outdoor pursuits, local attractions, or simply want to enjoy the peace of our countryside and the beauty of our coastline, Mossyard is the place for your perfect holiday. We can accommodate touring caravans, tents and motor homes.Our grass pitches are situated around the perimeter of two large grassy areas – our top field and lower field – both have easy access to safe and sandy beaches, which are perfect for swimming and sailing.The top field offers wonderful views overlooking Fleet Bay and is closer to the facilities situated at the farm steading. The lower field is slightly further away from the facilities but is situated next to the sea and you couldn’t get closer to the beach if you tried.All of our pitches have 16 amp electric hook ups.Well behaved pets are very welcome at Mossyard. We are open from the beginning of April to the end of October – however our opening date may be in March depending on when Easter falls – please contact us to check.
