About this campground
The BLM built the original Moose Creek Cabin in 1986 as the agency began developing a cabin and trail system in the White Mountains. In June 2014, the BLM replaced the old cabin with a new 16 ft x 16 ft cabin that will sleep up to six persons. The new location offers nice views south into the Washington Creek drainage from the top of a forested ridge. Views of the Alaska Range can be seen to the south, and the White Mountains to the north.
