About this campground
Moore Point Campground offers a remote wilderness camping experience on the north shore of Lake Chelan, approximately 42 miles up-lake from the town of Chelan. This boat-in only campground is accessible via personal watercraft from Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park or by commercial ferry services including the Lady of the Lake and Stehekin Ferry. The campground provides four designated tent sites with room for additional dispersed camping, four picnic tables, four fire rings with designated fire areas, and two vault toilets. The campground features a fixed dock with a three-boat capacity and a picnic shelter.

No potable water is available on-site, so visitors must treat or filter water from Lake Chelan or pack in their own water supply. A Federal Dock Site Permit is required during the operating season. The campground serves as a popular access point for the Lakeshore Trail and backcountry exploration in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
