About this campground
Selected as this is a spacious family-run site not far from the magnificent fairy tale city of Carcassonne. There are superb panoramic views over the surrounding Malepère and Corbière hills and it has a huge, very attractive Roman baths style aqua complex. The site is laid out on terraces and surrounded by open land giving it a very spacious feel. Access to the site is through a narrow entrance and up a fairly steep hill to the pitches, but it is suitable for large outfits with a good towing vehicle. It is an ideal spot for those who wish to combine a quiet atmosphere with a visit to the Cathar castles of the Aude region. We recommend it for a few days stopover, particularly if you are on the way to Spain.
