Mill House Caravan and Camping Site

We are a basic, family owned, short stay touring holiday site. The site is open April to October, located only 3 miles from Worcester city centre.We are a riverside site with 80 grass pitches for caravans, tents and motorhomes, 41 with electric hook-up. 4 small electric pitches are also available in our ‘B field.Facilities include a small shop, available 7 days a week and a breakfast cafe, open on weekends and Bank Holidays.Free WiFi is available in our yard area, not in the fields.Free shower block and toilets with washing-up sinks in both the ladies and gents.Pets are free to come on site as long as they are kept on a lead at all times.The river Salwarpe surrounds the site, which we allow fishing on for a small fee of £1.50 per rod, per day, when you are on site. A national rod licence is required. Fishing is not allowed during close season.You can cycle or walk from the site along the canal to Droitwich (~5 miles), or walk along the River Severn to Worcester (~4 miles).The closest pub to the site is ¾ mile and the closest serving food is 1.2 miles. A list of nearby eateries is available on the site noticeboard.We stock Calor Gas and Camping Gaz.Please be advised that as our site is in a low lying area, you may experience problems obtaining television reception.All visitors must report to the office to obtain a day pass before they enter the field.Our charges are per pitch, per night. A pitch includes 1 caravan, motorhome or tent (max 8x5m), 1 awning or gazebo, 1 car, 2 adults and 2 children (ages 3-12) or 3 adults.Booking in is between 9am and:-5:30pm Monday to Thursday7pm Friday and Saturday2pm Sunday and Bank Holiday MondayWe do not accept late arrivals. If you have problems with traffic, please telephone half an hour before closing time to advise us; no advice will be considered a cancellation.Booking out is by 12pm Friday and Saturday or 5pm Sunday to Thursday.One night bookings are available for a maximum 24 hours (normal booking in and out times apply).All pitches must be pre-booked and confirmed with a non-refundable deposit equal to the first night of your stay (not including extras). Any balance due is to be paid on arrival.We do not offer refunds for cancellations or early departures. Deposits may be transferred to another date within the same season, assuming at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to your arrival date.Bank Holiday weekends require a minimum of 2 nights booking; if booking near to a Bank Holiday weekend, please check availability first.Commercial vehicles by prior arrangement only.Due to fire regulations of a 6 metre gap between units, we are unable to accept any tents over 5 metres wide.We are unable to accept large group bookings. Approximately 4 miles from junction 6 of the M5, towards Kidderminster, signposted on the main road.Please note - We are on the main dual carriageway NOT in Chatley Lane (next turning north from us).
