About this campground
Military-operated Engineer Beach RV Park provides full hookup sites on Fort Rucker with water and electric connections at each site. The campground maintains clean facilities including restrooms, showers, and a laundry room, with an on-site dump station positioned at the park entrance. Large pull-through sites offer spacing between neighbors, though dense tree coverage can interfere with satellite reception and WiFi access remains limited. The facility includes a small playground with swings and basketball hoop, plus boat dock access to Lake Thollocco for water activities. Campers should expect frequent helicopter flyovers throughout day and night hours due to the military base location. Reviews
This military RV campground offers a clean and family-friendly environment with spacious, private sites. Campers appreciate the convenient amenities such as a dump station and laundry facilities, as well as access to Lake Thollocco. However, some guests noted the lack of WiFi and occasional noise from helicopters overhead. Overall, it is a well-recommended spot for those seeking a quiet retreat.
