Great place to camp if no one else is around and you want peace and quiet. A few river crossing in the area, some fishing, gold prospecting. I prefer to head up when no one else is there.

Busy campsite & base for 4wding, near lots of good tracks. One toilet. Lots of fire pits. Should definitely have a 4wd & 4wd caravan or trailer- difficult to get into.
