About this campground
Meløstranda Ferie og Fritid is centrally located in Vestfold county. It is a short drive to Sandefjord and Larvik, which are the nearest towns. The campsite is at the end of Åsrumvannet, which in turn is connected to the river Lågen. It is easy to find the campsite, for those coming from Larvik you can take national road 40 towards Kongsberg and then turn off at the village of Kvelde and national road 304 towards Sandefjord. For those coming from Oslo, take the exit towards Sandefjord and then on to national highway 304 towards Kvelde.

The campsite currently has more than 90 permanent residents during the season, in addition to 24-hour spaces for caravans, mobile homes (with electricity) and tents. With us, the caravan can be stored in winter if you do not want to make use of the option for winter use. Before the start of the 2016 season, renovations were carried out where a new operating building was built with, among other things, a kiosk. New tables and benches were also installed, as well as a playground for the children. A barbecue hut that can be rented by our residents, teams and associations was also set up. During the 2017 season, a new sanitary building, swing racks for the children, pavilions, jetties and rehabilitation of the area in general were set up. On the campsite itself, both water and electricity are offered, as well as all other facilities that are necessary.
