Welcome to the countryside! Our favorite place between Nordhofen, Oberhaid and Mogendorf, in the valley of Kleine Saynbach Creek in Westerwald, offers you an idyllic shelter between meadows, woods and a murmuring stream. Enjoy the view of the forest and meadows from the old horse pit. The surrounding forest invites you to take relaxing walks and explore. Lying down by the pond or watching the moles dig is pure meditation. Despite its proximity to the A3 motorway, in Kannenbäckerland you will find a quiet and secluded environment. You will find home-made shops and restaurants at a distance of 2 to 6 km. Explore the region with its numerous hiking and cycling routes, or visit the nearby ceramic city of Höhr-Grenzhausen, known for its pottery. Montabaur, with its old town and FOC (Foundation of Frankfurt City), also deserves a visit.
