About this campground
The quietest overnight place we have had in Peru so far. It is about a 30 min hike up to the ruins from the parking area. If you have a tent, it is an awesome place to camp if you pack your stuff up the trail. We found a level spot by some big rocks and camped at the parking area. Beware, it is a long 3 hour drive up a crazy, scary road from the pavement. Long wheel base vehicles will have a very difficult, or even impossible time trying to make some of the switchbacks. No facilities at all.
