About this campground
We have an off grid homestead nested in the forest behind the Malahat. We offer 4 basic tent sites, with outhouse, but no washrooms/showers. Just a relaxing place to start everyday with an adventure. You can stroll the farm and meet our animals, go for hikes (just 500m to the Trans Canada Trail), book a trail ride with one of your great horses, go bird watching, visit the Beaver Dam or just enjoy the peace and quiet. The perfect weekend get away or place to stay and fill up your energy. Please make all bookings through the Campertunity website to ensure you are protected by the Campertunity Terms of Use.

A basic campertunity in a wonderfully remote place to camp in the woods. we arrived late and left early so didn’t have the opportunity to meet the many animals. directions were easy to follow.

A lovely, peaceful, out of the way site. Lots of animals to visit and the hosts are very kind. Campsites are quite roomy and come with a fire ring and picnic table.

Literally in the middle of nowhere!! Beautiful views of the rugged bc outdoors. A qaint little cabin is also available to rent on the property. A full scale farm, with chickens, horses, donkey, wild boars and goats. The campsite is private and peaceful....

I stayed at Maple Heart Ranch for three nights, May 27th - 30th 2020 and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. My campsite was nice, near the house and cabin but still very private. It was close to the outhouse and came equipped with fire ring, table and garbage can...
