About this campground
Vogelfederberg! Great rest area / viewpoint in the Namib Naukluft Park with permission to stay overnight. Especially 4x4 vehicle great, it can be driven in and on the mountain! Viewpoint car park can also be used without a 4x4. The view from the mountain is breathtaking. No water, no electricity, just pure nature. Permit must be paid in advance in the MET office (e.g. Swakopmund). No reservation possible, principle first come first serve. (Jan 2020 we were alone on site)
