Whether you're a seasoned camper or new to the outdoor lifestyle, our camping cabins offer a perfect retreat for those seeking a simple and authentic connection with nature. The Cabins have a shaded deck and private picnic table. Cabin Guests have access to our (Rocky) beach, great for a walk and a campfire in the evening. Important! Bed linens are not standard provided at the Zzzz Moose Camping Cabins. The beds have mattress protectors. Pillows are provided and have pillow protectors. You can bring your sleeping bag(s) or bedding or we can provide a linen package at a cost. It is $7.50 for a double bed and $6.00 for a single bed for your stay. The package has all sheets, pillow cases a comforter and towels. The Dancing Moose Cafe, on the same property, is closed for the general public in 2025 but serves (optional) breakfast for the guests that stay on the property. Breakfast, a la carte, is available between 7.30 and 10.00 am. And even more (general) info! The ZzzzMoose Camping Cabins are located on the East side of Cape Breton Island, 8 km south of Cape Smokey, between the Cape Breton Highlands National Park (25 km) and the town of Baddeck (65 km) on the Bras d'Or Lakes. The North Shore, originally settled by Scots in the early 1800s, is now home to a variety of nationalities. Lobster and Crab fishery (May-July), are a important part of the culture and the many talented artisans, musicians and crafters in our area makes this a very diverse Community. There are lots of hiking and snowshoeing trails in and outside the National Park Cross-country Skiing at North Highland Nordic (1 hour north) and if you like golf... Highland Links is a beautiful 25-minute drive away. Ski Cape Smokey, 20 minutes north of us is a great downhill ski resort with the longest vertical drop in Atlantic Canada!
