Bude its famous surfing beaches is only seven miles away.If walking is your passion then the highest cliffs in Cornwall will provide you with some spectacular views. Maintained by the National Trust the walks are easily reached and are endless. With fantastic coastal scenery to see, you will want to return time after time. We pride ourselves in the return of visitors who have stayed with us year after year. We feel that once you visit North Cornwall's cliffs, beaches, local fishing villages and experience the magic that makes North Cornwall the special place that it is you will certainly want to return.THINGS TO DO......The surrounding area is rich with folklore. The North Cornish Coast provides some of the most spectacular scenery that you will encounter in the whole of Cornwall.The camping site is situated close to the highest cliffs in Cornwall and within ten minutes you can reach the Coastal Path and walk for miles in either direction.Most people head towards Boscastle and Tintagel but either route has fantastic views and if you are lucky you might spot the Seals that frequent the coast but for certain you will see all sorts of wildlife especially our wonderful Sea Birds.Flora at its best and anytime of the year it can be appreciated and it is always changing so that you will want to visit more than once.We are also close to the Bodmin/Wadebridge cycle path which will take you all the way down to the beautiful port of Padstow famous for Rick Steins restaurant.The lovely fishing ports of Boscastle and Port Isaac are close by with fantastic restaurants and Pubs.Little Pennycrocker Holiday Cottage.Set away from the campsite, this quaint little stable conversion has a lovely cosy feel about it. It has everything to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. With some lovely features including open beams and granite window seats to slate floors in the lounge/kitchen. The cottage has retained it's character and charm.With lovely views from the lounge it has a nice sense of peace. Outside provides seating area to the side of the cottage and across the way a lawned area with fantastic views down the coast to Pentire Head. We have the most spectacular sunsets which can be enjoyed from the lawn with a Barbecue or a glass of wineThere is under floor heating throughout. With wood-burner effect fire in the lounge/kitchen. Open plan living with kitchen and dining areas, TV, DVD, CD player etc. Electric Cooker, Fridge. Microwave. Wet room with shower, WC & basin, Zip and Links Beds in Bedroom can be made as a double or Twin. Travel Cot & High Chair. Inclusive. Electricity, o/f central under floor heating, Towels, Duvets. Garden Furniture, BBQ. Parking. Non Smoking.Pod CampingThe pod is 12ft x 8ft and 7ft high at the peak (larger than the average caravan) it has lights and two electric sockets, table and benches. The Pod is camping without the hassle of pitching a tent. Warm, waterproof and cosy.All you need to bring are your sleeping bags,camping beds or an inflatable mattress is a good idea. Your usual camping bits are needed but not your tent. The Pod is securewith its own key so all your belongings are safe. Outside has a small decking area ideal for relaxing on your camping chairs or deck chairs.The Pod has wide uninterrupted countryside and sea views.PRICE: £20 per night (including electric) plus £6.00 per adult, £4.00 per child.
