Five pitches with three hard stands all with electric hook up and our own spring water. We welcome dogs and have a 4 acre dog walk and secure kennel for hire if you want a day out where dogs are not allowed. We also offer introductory course to Bee Keeping. Please ask for further information. Stay for just a night or maybe a week (or two). We are open all year round. Lower Killigorrick is the ideal touring base for the Eden Project, Looe, Polperro and Bodmin Moor.Yurt Holidays at Lower Killigorrick Farm, CornwallOur wonderful 17' diameter Yurt is set in a secluded clearing, well away from the caravan and camping area, in a young woodland on our working smallholding.The Yurt is made of ash and is well equipped for a cosy stay with double bed, bed settee, dining table and chairs, drawers, rugs and lanterns and a superb wood burner for our Cornish chilly evenings. Bed linen and towels are provided. Outdoors you will find garden table and chairs and a hammock for those lazy days and a separate covered cooking area with everything you need in your camp kitchen. In a different area you will find a covered compost toilet. Hot showers and flush w.c. just a short walk away. The Yurt and its setting is a beautiful peaceful hidden away idyll. For adults only it is perfect for romantic getaways or for that special event. No one will know you are there (except for us). Come and stay and enjoy an amazing experience in a truly tranquil place. No noise or light pollution. The stars are astonishing on a clear night. Look at them as you lie in bed with the toasty wood burner keeping you warm. Why not request a breakfast hamper when you book! Your hamper includes sausage, bacon, free range eggs, granary loaf, apple juice, butter and jam or honey all produced either on the farm or locally. Non meat hampers are also available.You will go home completely chilled and rested and hopefully looking forward to a return visit. Site InformationWe offer a warm welcome to our well looked after site.No charge for awnings but request you use a permeable ground sheet.Shower and toilet facilities.Site fees are payable and due on arrival for the number of night you have booked with us. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds should you choose to leave early as your pitch has been reserved for you, by you, and cannot be filled at short notice. We welcome dogs and have a lovely four acre field to walk them in. We have a spacious secure kennel for daily hire should you wish to visit an attraction which doesn't allow you to take your dog. Please keep your dogs on their leads whilst on the site and when near livestock. Please pick up their waste at all times.Other InfoWe will charge batteries if required.We have freezer space available 'for you fishermen' .Please note that our disposal unit is connected to a septic tank and therefore, we ask that you use green toilet fluid in your waste holding tank.Farm ShopWe have a small farm shop where we offer an excellent range of home grown seasonal vegetables and also turn some into healthy homemade soups. You will also find our own pork and beef for sale i.e. sausages, chops, steaks, mince and much more along with our own free range eggs. In addition we have homemade chutneys, jams and ice cream and we also source produce from other local producers i.e. cheese. We also stock some of your daily food items and necessities. All our animals are free range and raised using traditional principles. They are processed, butchered/cured and packed locally thus cutting down the travelling stress for the animals and of course unnecessary food miles.
