About this campground
1 Hour Drive to Volcano National Park. Located adjacent to the 2018 Leilani lava flow. This unique yurt living space will immerse you in the natural beauty of Hawaii. Spectacular ocean views and sunrises. You will be just 20 minutes away from Keaau town, but feel like you are out in the middle of the country farm. Our 30-acre farm hosts cows, geese, ducks, and goats. Our place is completely off-grid, collecting sun and rainwater. Glamping here is so comfortable with your own bathroom, kitchen, and outdoor shower. All bedding, towels, and kitchen items are provided. Stove range only (no oven) and no microwave. Sleeping spaces include 2 queen beds.

We also have a fold-out full-size foam mat if you need extra room. You may book guided nature bathing walks with our caretaker, and when available, observe daily cow milking. We grow exotic fruit trees and have a large community garden for you to explore. NOTE: We are a farm and we have farm cats that roam. If you leave your yurt door open, some of the more friendly cats may stop by to say hi. There are two friendly dogs that live with our caretaker. We prefer to introduce you to the dogs on your first day. Please let us know if you have phobias or allergies. Due to its rural jungle location there is no satellite TV & WiFi is Starlink. The dirt driveway may require slower driving in for sedan vehicles, an SUV is ideal. Neighborhood may include pigs, bugs, roosters, jungle noises & dogs. You will have access to the grassy area in front of the yurt. We have electric fencing that keeps the cows and goats out of the front 3 acres where the yurts are located. Please keep inside the electric fencing and do not approach the electric fence.
