Loch Ness Bay Camping

This whole area has been designated for tents where you can pitch up wherever suits you best!We have an option for electric hook-ups for tents, as well as a number of non-electric pitches for smaller campervans on the grass.The shower and toilet facilities are modern and accessible, and we have disposal points for black and grey water. There are two designated washing up areas for dishes as well as coin operated laundry facilities.Free WIFI is available over the whole campsite. We have many picnic benches over the centre grassland for tents which are available for all to enjoy using.Out and aboutThere are lots of great restaurants and pubs within walking distance - the closest being a 5 minute walk away - which will suit most appetites and give you a taste of Scotland's Larder. There is a selection of menus in the reception to have a look through to make the decision a bit easier!Local shops are only half a mile away. The village shop is open from 06:30 - 22:00hrs daily with a cash point. We have a local garage, a post office and a range of boutique shops in the centre of Drumnadrochit. Urquhart Castle and the famous Loch Ness Exhibition Centre are approx. 20 minutes walk from the campsite.Some of the most amazing scenery in Scotland is located in the area with much to see and do. Many roads and tracks lead deep into the surrounding hills and glens where you are sure to spot buzzards, heron, roe deer, red squirrels and other wildlife for those that are looking for peace and beauty.
