This peaceful family run site is located in a woodland surrounding on the border of the Snowdonia National Park, just 3 miles from Llanberis which is the most popular starting point for walkers to walk up Snowdon.Just 500 mtrs from the site the local Pub The Glyntwrog serves fantastic food and a wide selection of Ales.Across the road to the site an Old Fashioned Bakery sells fresh bread, pasties, pies and cakes and the village Llanrug (1/2 a mile away) has a Chippy, a Londis & Premier Store, butchers/delicatessen and a doctors surgery.Llanberis boasts several tourist attractions including The Electric Mountain, The National Slate Museum, both the Snowdon Mountain Railway and The Llanberis Lake Railway.Caernarfon is the nearest town to us (3 miles) which has a magnificent Castle in which Prince Charles Investiture was held in 1969 and the starting point for The Welsh Highland Railway.We are dog friendly!We are "Super friendly" for people with dogs coming on to our site. We don't charge any extra for the dogs and we have a designated Dog Exercising Field which is a field just under an acre in size and is securely fenced off and mown regularly. Living in the country, there are plenty of walks locally for owners and their dogs as well as the lakes and the beach.DirectionsSituated half way between Llanberis and Caernarfon on the A4086.On entering the village of Llanrug from Llanberis, turn left up Ffordd Bryngwyn at The Glyntwrog Pub. Drive up the lane for about 500 mtrs, pass the bungalows on your right and then you will find a large splayed entrance to our site on your right.
