About this campground
Useful fallback option if all spaces are taken at the nearby Calverley Bridge parking area. This is the next road along off Leeds Ring Road. A wide road with little traffic- leads only to a new housing development. Workers from the adjacent wood factory park here and occasional overnight HGV drivers. Access via packhorse bridge across the river Aire to the Leeds- Liverpool canal and railway pub (5 mins walk). The canal side Calverley Bridge parking area is preferable but this is a useful fallback option if you can’t get on there.
