About this campground
Landal Twenhaarsveld is located in the middle of the beautiful Overijssel countryside and is part of the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. This wooded park, situated at the foot of the Holterberg mountain, is equipped with all modern conveniences. Take a dip in the swimming pool, hit a ball on the tennis court or throw a strike at the bowling alley. The detached bungalows are an ideal starting point for various walking, cycling or covered wagon trips. For golf lovers, there is an 18-hole par 7, forest and heathland golf course about 10 kilometres from the park.

Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a game of tennis or miniature golf. But table tennis, bowling and volleyball are also available. There is also a leisure programme for young and old. The Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park offers un-Dutch views over large undulating heathlands and vast forests. The mountain bike enthusiast can also have the time of his life here. Want to go out for the day? Then pay a visit to the Hanseatic city of Deventer. Right in the heart of Deventer is the monumental Waag. This special building houses the Historical Museum Deventer. Here you can learn more about the highlights of the city's history. Another museum in Deventer is the Toy Museum; here you will find toys from the Middle Ages to the present day. The Ecodrome in Zwolle or the Anton Pieck Museum in Hattem are also highly recommended.
