About this campground
Lake Park offers trails, restrooms, boating, a playground, picnic areas, volleyball, and BMX. It features tent camping clearings with fire pits and gazebos, an archery range, and opportunities for hiking and exploring wooded loops, some of which may flood seasonally. Note: Camping is primarily for organized nonprofit youth groups.
Reviews
This campsite offers a variety of recreational activities and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a great spot for organized youth groups. However, it is important to note that camping is restricted to these groups, which limits accessibility for general campers. While the park features well-maintained restrooms and picnic areas, several reviewers have pointed out issues with road conditions and flooding during the rainy season. Overall, the park is clean and offers a range of amenities, but it could benefit from some maintenance and clearer access routes.
