Send the teenagers off to meet like-minded souls in the Teens Room or enjoy a drink in the Red Squirrel Inn, our family-friendly bar where regular entertainment is provided and popular theme nights including, Back To The 70's Parties and Country and Western Nights are held. For the children there is a large, safe and secure outdoor Play Area, a Cinema Club and Games Room! Inside the pool building there is a patio area for the less energetic, so just sit back and relax and let everyone else splash around and have fun. If swimming is not your thing then head into the adjoining Sauna for a true chill-out experience. This is a great place to unwind, de-stress and let your worries fade away – if you don’t mind getting a bit hot under the collar!Children's PlaygroundThe Children’s Playground occupies a large expanse of land at the top of the Park. There is a climbing frame, swings, play structures and slides – all enclosed by a fence and gate for safety. With plenty of space to run around and wear themselves out, the playground is a great place for the kids to meet and make new friends or just to let off steam and have a break from the adults! However, with plenty of seating and positioned in good view of the Red Squirrel Inn Beer Garden, you can have peace of mind and still keep a watchful eye on your little ones while they are having fun.NB – The play structures have been designed with child safety in mind.Games RoomLagganhouse Country Park features a fun-filled games room for the whole family to enjoy. Arriving at Lagganhouse, you are greeted by an archway of beautiful trees and lush grass. In Springtime, the unmistakeable scent of aromatic wild garlic fills the air and the bluebells bring an explosion of vibrant colour to the landscape. Wildlife is all around us, with squirrels lurking in the trees, bunnies hopping across the grass and occasionally a wild deer may gambol over and hide in the trees. You can take in the beautiful views across the Stinchar Valley and breathe in fresh, clean, country air. Pop into the Main Office which is housed in the old house and meet our friendly team, or grab a snack from the on-site shop or the bar. Situated in the heart of the park is our New Development which has piped-in gas and stunning panoramic views across the Irish Sea. We currently have very few plots left on this sought-after area of the Park so if you fancy joining us, call Donna for details.DirectionsThe Ferry Port at Cairnryan, where you can cross over to Ireland in less than two hours, is just 15 miles away. Glasgow is less than 2 hours driving time, Ayr 1 hour, Dumfries and Gretna under 2 hours.Coming from England or East ScotlandOnce on the A75 follow signs for Stranraer. Two miles before you come to Stranraer, Cairnryan is sign posted to turn right.Coming south from GlasgowFollow the M77 south towards Kilmarnock and Ayr. Once you get to Ayr follow signs for Stranraer, the road then becomes the A77. Cairnryan is 4 miles short of Stranraer. Once you arrive in Cairnryan the caravan park is on the left hand side up on the hill (not visible from the road, though it is sign posted) and roughly 1 mile into the village. The slip junction for the park is shared with the Lochryan Hotel.
