About this campground
Kvisterø Fjordcamping is located near the town of Kolvereid in the forested Nord-Trondelag county. Ideal location by the Foldafjorden. (close to the "korsnes stream") guarantees the capture of e.g. Cod, flounder, haddock, whiting, whiting, mackerel, herring, salmon, sea trout, halibut, flounder, catfish and other types of fish. At the end of March and the beginning of April, very large quantities of skrei from the Barents Sea enter the Foldafjorden to spawn. Skrei of 12 - 13 kg are not uncommon. They can rent cabins from 2 to 6 people with shower and toilet as well as rent a fishing boat and outboard motor.

The cabins are equipped with, among other things, a heater, fridge and cooking equipment. The campsite is also well suited for stays in tents, caravans and combi-camps. There are also good sanitary conditions and a cozy canteen with a covered terrace. The campsite is a well-suited starting point for excursions around the area. In the beautiful nature you can meet moose. reindeer, roe deer, lynx, fox, otter, mink, porpoise, seal, sea eagle and other interesting birds and mammals. A real adventure, Eldorado for all anglers and nature lovers.
