Kleinste Gemeinde Thüringens

Make a stop at the gates of the smallest independent municipality of Thuringia. Our village has just 32 inhabitants. Just under 10km as the crow flies separate the idyllically located Kleinbockedra from the Jena city centre. City, train noise, highway, etc are therefore far away and it can be relaxed. Before going to sleep, you are cordially invited to a small hike to decelerate.At a distance of 0.5km close to a source lies the legendary robber cave (see pictures). At your feet extends the Ölknitzer Grund, pure nature included. On foot or by bike you can also reach the beautiful Saaletal. The not far away Leuchtenburg, the Dornburg Castle, the hunting castle Hummelshain, and many other highlights are always worth a trip. Let yourself drift from the tranquility of our small municipality and enjoy the deceleration.
