Adjoining the park are play areas bluebell woodlands forests and coastal trails and a 9-hole golf course. Trout and coarse fishing and 16km of world class cycle tracks are also on the doorstep. Just 15 minutes' stroll away is the pretty seaside village of Kippford with two pubs chandlery public slipway and a sand/shingle beach with spectacular views.
