About this campground
Kielo Camp is a new addition to Pyhäjoki - a peaceful and beautiful campsite that will open its doors in early August 2025. We are located in the idyllic Kielosaari, just one kilometre from highway 8. The site has 38 electrified pitches for motorhomes and caravans, as well as several non-electrified pitches and space for camping. Kielo Camp is self-service - no reception, no queuing - just easy and hassle-free accommodation. There are two atmospheric wood-fired saunas on site, both with their own dock and swimming facilities. The saunas are booked separately, and washing is done in the traditional style with the help of a dish and bucket - just like in the old days.

There is a toilet and shower on arrival, a chemical toilet and grey water drainage point, a water point, and a small communal kitchen. At Kielo Camp you can relax by the fire pit, write your thoughts in a guest book in the greenhouse, or take a walk along the nature trail that leads to the bird tower and the lodge. For children, there's a trampoline, a playground and a toy basket. And best of all - pets are warmly welcome! This is a place where your mind rests, nature soothes and the hustle and bustle of everyday life is left behind. Whether you're heading north or south, Kielo Camp is the perfect place to rest after a long day of driving. And for most people, it's not just for one night - it's a place you'll want to return to.
