Please ensure that this poses no problem to any member of your party before booking.A 10 minute walk from the site down a natural footpath brings you to the South West coast path and Kenneggy Sands, a stunning, secluded beach, which is always uncrowdedThe park has no bar or clubhouse although we do offer varied take-away meals for your convenience. The shop stocks grocery items, newspapers and camping spares including gas. There is a play area, a fully equipped launderette and a telephone kiosk. Within walking distance there are two pubs for those who enjoy the atmosphere of a good country inn. Also readily accessible are restaurants, riding stables, a golf course, a choice of beaches and a wide range of marine watersports. The coastal path extends along the clifftop for many miles and is very attractive in the spring with an abundance of wild flowers.Holiday HomesThe nine holiday homes have been awarded the prestigious Rose Award for excellence from the English Tourist Board. They are spacious, warm and, most importantly, spotlessly clean. Each holiday home offers a lounge, double and twin bedroom (with an additional bunk bedroom in the 3-bed home), shower/toilet and fully equipped kitchen. Most have microwave ovens and all have colour television and free gas and electricity, providing as much hot water and heating as required. For that extra touch of luxury, our Superluxe model is exceptionally spacious and offers TV/video and ensuite shower room. All of the holiday homes have sea views over Mount's Bay to Lizard Point and are generously spaced, with plenty of room for the outdoor furniture provided.Things to DoIf you are seeking an attractive park from which to explore West Cornwall then we are in the ideal position. Being close to Penzance you have the opportunity to take a day trip to by helicopter, plane, or ship to the Isles of Scilly, to explore The Lizard or to discover the little known Roseland peninsula. Within a twenty mile radius you can visit quaint St.Ives and it's new Tate Gallery; the ancient sea port of Falmouth; Helston, home of the Flora Dance, and the ruggedness of Land's End.Marazion, which looks out to St.Michaels Mount, is but three miles distant and local beaches and coves abound including Prussia Cove. The Eden Project at St Austell is just over an hour away and as potentially the most significant millennium project anywhere in the world is a "must see" attraction. If you would like to learn scuba diving Undersea Adventures at Long Rock, Penzance can offer comprehensive six day courses from £355 (Spring and Autumn) that will qualify you to dive safely. If you are already qualified you can hire equipment, dive safely from their boat with other experienced divers, and hopefully, swim with the dolphins that frequent this part of the coast. They also have a shop where you can buy a full range of equipment for all diving requirements. Eating out can be a problem but not any more if you visit the Food in Cornwall website. Here you will find recommended establishments in the area with details of typical menus and tariffs, just the thing to take the gamble out choosing.
