This campsite offers a free option close to Nitmiluk National Park, making it a convenient choice for budget-conscious campers. However, it lacks essential facilities such as toilets and has been noted for cleanliness issues, including rubbish and rodents. The area can be noisy due to nearby roads and trains, and insect presence is significant, requiring campers to be prepared with bug spray. While some find it suitable for an overnight stay, others recommend seeking alternatives for a more comfortable experience.
