About this campground
Nice parking space in the sleepy village of Kalarrites (as of 10/22/21). # We stood there for two days and were warmly welcomed by the remaining locals and the shepherds. It was no problem to get there with my 7.5t vehicle. Between the monastery, which is carved in stone, and the parking space there is a tunnel with a height limit of 3.5m. In addition, the bridges there mostly have a maximum width of 2.5m. # It is definitely worth paying a visit to the village and doing the 1.5 hour hike to Sirako - please put on suitable footwear. # Less than a few meters from the parking space there is a spring from which we could drink without any problems and a little further down there are also garbage cans. So keep it clean!
