About this campground
You can find Jølvassbu Camping by the river Jølstra, in scenic surroundings, within walking distance to fishing spots, marked hiking trails, swimming beach, supermarket, restaurant, boat/kayak/canoe etc. From Jølvassbu you can take day trips to glaciers and mountains, fjords or cities, all within an hour's drive. A number of marked hiking trails with maps, from very easy hikes to demanding ones, also several with a guide. An ideal starting point for fishing in one of Europe's best trout waterways. We have extensive experience with sport fishing, and are happy to share our knowledge with our guests. Jølvassbu Camping is open all year round. Drop-in from April to September, or by appointment.
