Jarbidge Campground is a small, primitive campground located in one of Nevada's most remote areas, approximately 1 mile south of the historic mining town of Jarbidge. Situated within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest at roughly 6,000 feet elevation, this free, first-come, first-served campground offers basic amenities for self-sufficient campers seeking a true backcountry experience in northeastern Nevada's Jarbidge Mountains. The campground provides vault toilets but no potable water, so visitors must bring all necessary supplies. The surrounding area receives significant snowfall each winter, typically 7-8 feet, making the Jarbidge area one of the wettest regions in Nevada.

Access roads to Jarbidge are unimproved dirt routes that are not maintained during winter months and become impassable due to snow, generally from October or November through June or July. The campground's remote location provides access to the Jarbidge Wilderness, a rugged landscape of rocky peaks, cirque basins, and narrow canyons. The area is popular with hikers, anglers, and hunters seeking solitude in one of Nevada's most isolated mountain ranges.
