About this campground
This glamping property is located on a tiny private island near Olympia, Washington, about 90 minutes from Seattle. A short 10 minute voyage on our private ferry brings you to our Beachfront Cabin and Annex where you'll probably see more deer, eagles, seals and whales than people. The property features 2 individual buildings, the Cabin and the Annex, available separately or together, that accommodate parties from 1 to 8 guests. The main cabin on this WA Island sleeps up to four glampers in two bedrooms. The downstairs open bedroom has a queen-size bed and the upstairs has two single beds in the open loft. There is one full bathroom with a shower and laundry facilities are available.

Ductless heating and air conditioning and a wood-burning stove are provided to keep guests comfortable year round. The dining and lounge spaces are perfect for socializing indoors, and the deck has plenty of outdoor furniture for relaxing, meals outside, and enjoying the spectacular view. The Annex will sleep an additional four guests with a queen-size bed in the upstairs master bedroom and a comfy sleeper sofa downstairs. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a sink, induction hotplate and a large microwave. In addition, there is a bathroom with shower and laundry facilities. The lounge has an electric fireplace with a TV and a DVD player. Guests should note that the Annex cannot be rented individually; it can only be rented as an extension of the Cabin. Groups of five or more must add the Annex since the main cabin will sleep only four guests. To add the Annex guests should simply inquire with the hosts once the reservation has been made and the hosts will update the rate. Adding the Annex costs an additional $85 per night (plus $60 cleaning fee). Glampers will find two kayaks and two stand up paddle boards at their disposal and waiting at the beach. On the back deck, there's a patio dining table with a large umbrella, a couple of nice chaise lounges, Adirondack chairs, a propane grill and propane fire table that is the perfect setting for an evening under the stars. The host supplies all propane, towels, linens, soap and paper products. Guests should keep in mind that there are no stores, restaurants, or medical services on the island. Be sure to bring all your food with you. This will a truly authentic experience of glamping: Washington, Herron Island and its natural world will be right at guests' fingertips.
