ProfileLeiputrija is a small-scale campsite in the middle of Latvia, about 25 kilometres from the capital Riga. You will be camping in a mainly flat, rural and wooded area. The Gauja River flows just a few hundred metres from the …campsite. The campsite offers many opportunities for activities and excursions, such as quad biking, canoeing, karting and buggy rides. The 35 demarcated pitches at Camping Leiputrija offer plenty of space for your caravan or camper van. Most of the terrain is grassy, with a few spots here and there in the tree line. There are two separate areas for campers. The campsite also offers accommodation in addition to pitches, including a mobile home and simple log cabins.

These vary considerably in size (9-25 m²) and are suitable for two to eight people. Would you prefer something more luxurious? Then choose one of the five rooms. Depending on which room you book, you will have access to your own bathroom and to shared facilities such as a sauna, an entertainment room and a terrace. Leiputrija campsite offers everything you need for an active holiday. There are sports fields (basketball, volleyball, football), a playground, seven fishing lakes, the Gauja River (ideal for canoeing) and a variety of excursion options. You can rent bicycles, quads, karts or buggies to explore the surrounding nature. The campsite also organises canoe and kayak trips. You can also take a pedal boat out on the water. The sanitary facilities are in good condition. There is also a communal kitchen, which is very practical for guests camping in tents. You can get fresh bread from the small shop at reception.
