About this campground
Nestled on the historic Pilgrim's Way, this location combines peaceful countryside surroundings with convenient access to quality local food and drink. The on-site farm shop offers exceptional butchery selections featuring house-raised beef and lamb, locally-sourced free-range pork and chicken, plus fresh produce, bread, and cakes on Saturdays. Guests consistently praise the quality of the meat and produce available for purchasing and preparing meals. The adjacent brewery and tap room add another dimension to the experience, operating Thursday through Sunday with extended Saturday hours, and featuring stone-baked pizza on Thursday and Friday evenings.

Weekend food trucks provide additional dining options. Visitors frequently highlight enjoying a pint and pizza as a highlight of their stay, with many returning specifically for these offerings. The setting itself appeals to those seeking tranquility—guests describe the atmosphere as beautiful, peaceful, and quiet, with minimal noise and excellent opportunities for morning walks with dogs. The flat car park provides convenient parking for overnight guests, and the farm shop opens early for breakfast shopping, making it easy to source fresh bacon, eggs, and sausages to start the day.
