About this campground
Hillcrest is a friendly, spacious Camping & Caravanning Club Certified Site, with just five pitches for members. The peaceful site rests next to a public footpath, meandering to a local pub for post-exertion drinks and meals. Guests can soak in the scenery from a different angle with a boat ride to the nearby town of Beccles. A short stroll down the lane leads to the Maisebrook Farm, well-stocked with a range of local produce for alfresco nibbles and picnics. This no-frills campsite offers only drinking water points and chemical disposal in the way of communal amenities.

Roomy grass pitches with optional 16 electric hook-ups are available for small campervans, motorhomes, and caravan owners required to use their onboard washroom and toilet facilities. There are many options for family-friendly days out, and the site’s central location is a short drive from the bustling towns of Beccles and Bungay and just 30-minutes from the small town of Southwold. If you’re planning to unwind on the campsite, there is a private indoor heated pool for cooling off, followed by a lazy day soaking in the scenery as you sip on a cold beverage of choice and appreciate the relaxed pace of country life. Friendly canines are most welcome to tag along.
