Funny that it's always the people who aren't allowed to smoke outside upon the grounds or in the buildings that have a problem with the rules. First, you were here on May 4th, four days after we had a blizzard and 18 inches of snow so of course the pool wasn't open, it's an outdoor pool. As with most campgrounds we shoot for Memorial Day opening (ours opened on 6/2). Now about the mini golf, as I told you when you checked in, we are taking it out and putting parking... First, you were here on May 4th, four days after we had a blizzard and 18 inches of snow so of course the pool wasn't open, it's an outdoor pool. As with most campgrounds we shoot for Memorial Day opening (ours opened on 6/2). Now about the mini golf, as I told you when you checked in, we are taking it out and putting parking in for our 5 star onsite restaurant, and making a larger dog park that is centrally located. It's been closed since last Labor Day and all references to it have been eliminated from all places we have control of. In reference to the hot tub in an enclosed gazebo, being read the riot act, that I would have you arrested for breaking rules or smoking on the property and that I accosted you when you were walking around ( I asked you if needed some assistance) , that would not be true, and is a lie. The Hot Tub is only for the campers use and many of them do. If the "riot act" is being told that this was a non-smoking park which meant you could smoke in your camper or vehicle, and explaining that we can't allow camp fires or charcoal grills and asked not to drive thru any other site but your own then I guess our definition of riot act differs. I'm sorry you were offended by the explanations (but I REALLY think it's because you were mad about our smoking policy, and your wife doesn't allow you to smoke in your RV. Finally as for trees, this is the high plains, we grow wheat here and tall shade trees don't do well in the high winds that we get here. In closing, I will say I'm sorry you were unhappy here with everything but I'm not going to change the smoking policy. We cater to happy people, so I would recommend that you get some help about your anger problem. Read Less
