Henry Horton State Park Campground sits on the shores of the Duck River, recognized as one of the most diverse ecosystems in the United States. Built in the 1960s on the estate of former Tennessee Governor Henry Horton, this state park campground offers something for every camping style. The main RV campground features 56 drive-up sites with water and 20/30/50 amp electric hookups (no sewer), while 19 primitive tent sites are available near a seasonal bathhouse. For a unique experience, 6 hike-in hammock sites are located behind the RV campground, and 2 backcountry sites sit approximately 1.5 miles in on the Adeline Wilhoite River Trail Loop.

Additionally, 6 overland drive-in sites in the North Campground Loop offer a more primitive experience without hookups. All campsites except backcountry locations include a grill, picnic table, and fire ring. WiFi is available throughout most of the campground, and a camp store sells camping supplies, snacks, firewood, and locally-sourced gift items. Two bathhouses operate seasonally, with one remaining open during winter. The park itself offers extensive recreational opportunities including guided kayak floats on the Duck River, hiking and mountain biking trails, disc golf, skeet shooting, an 18-hole golf course, and multiple playgrounds including an ADA-accessible playground. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and checkout at noon. Campsites are limited to six people and two overnight vehicles maximum.
